We're currently recruiting for a Nursery Manager to join an outstanding nursery in Tunbridge Wells. As the Nursery Manager, you'll be at the helm of overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your role will involve managing staff, implementing the curriculum, adhering to regulatory standards, liaising with parents, and fostering a nurturing environment for the children. We're seeking someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to upholding high standards of care and education. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional childcare within a supportive and vibrant nursery environment.
Nursery Manager Responsibilities:
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Implement and ensure all staff adhere to the nursery's policies and procedures.
Responsibility for the welfare of all children, ensuring consistent, high-quality care.
Develop genuine bonds with your staff and support colleagues in their responsibilities.
Maintain professional relationships with parents/carers, ensuring effective communication and involvement in nursery life.
Participate in training, staff meetings, parents evenings, and special events outside of regular working hours.
Nursery Manager Requirements:
Must have previous managerial experience within a nursery environment.
Enhanced DBS check required.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to maintain staffing ratios.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Professional demeanour and a good role model for children and staff.
