The Downs Malvern has become part of the Malvern College Charity, it is a busy, vibrant and successful co-educational preparatory school for boarding and day children aged between 3 and 13 years. We have a welcoming staff community and excellent facilities on our 55 acre site. We have our own salary scale and are situated near to Great Malvern on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join us as we prepare to open our Nursery from September 2024 for children aged 6 months to 4 years.
The Nursery Manager will be responsible for delivering and ensuring a high standard of learning, development, and care for the children as well as act as role model for staff and showcase high quality practice with children and work and build effective relationships with staff and parents.
This role is on a full time basis, 40 hours per week and is for 52 weeks but would have a 2 week shut down period.
You will have a sound knowledge of all school policies and procedures, as well as statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted/ISI expectations, ensuring that these are adhered to at all times.
