As a Nursery Chef you will provide nutritious and well-balanced meals to around 30 children on a daily basis.Qualifications:Minimum Level 2 in Basic Food Hygiene A Level 2/ Level 3 NVQ in either food processing/catering or a Level 3 in supervision of food safety in catering.Experience:Have a minimum of 1 years experience within a nursery setting or a commercial kitchen. Skills Ability to plan a 4 week rolling menu that consists of snack, lunch and tea.The ability to produce healthy and varied meals.Able to cook for 30 children Must attend staff meetings and prepare a light snack.Able to work within a team under the guidance of the manager and deputy manager.Aware of Local Authority and Statutory Health and Safety/environmental legislation and Healthy Eating Safer food Better Business.To maintain records and standards within the Food Standards Agency.
