n exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Halesowen, West Midlands area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providersThis care home provides the highest possible standards of care and support to older people with challenging behaviour in spacious, modern yet homely and safe surroundings**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environmentLead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person centred care and support in way which promotes: dignity; privacy; safety and independence and which promotes equality & diversity for everyone living and working in the ServiceSupport the Service Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancyComply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all timesEnsure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionalsProvide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the ServiceWill have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughput the serviceThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:Previous experience as a DM, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse in a nursing home settingPrevious experience of leading a teamGreat written and verbal skills for communication and understandingGood IT skills and confidence in computer based workAble to show a can-do attitude alwaysThe successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £39,713 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working Day Shifts only.
