Nuclear Safety Engineer
Hourly Rate: £60.00 PAYE or £79.17 UMBRELLA
Location: Barrow in Furness
Working Arrangements: Remote, with bi-monthly site visits to Barrow.
Responsibilities:
Lead in creating and reviewing nuclear substantiation documents.
Conduct safety reviews and maintain autonomy in deliverables.
Facilitate substantiation requirements and mentor team members.
Collaborate on nuclear-related activities business-wide.
Requirements:
Experience in Nuclear Design Substantiation and safety cases.
Civil and Structural experience is desirable.
Nuclear Safety Case experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, and have strong report writing skills.
Background in engineering, preferred in civil & structural.
Chartered Engineer status and STEM degree are advantageous.
