The Company
This fast pace and fast-growing chilled food manufacturer supply a wide range of loyal customers spanning different facets of the UK food industry. They are now seeking an experienced New Product Development Manager to join their creative team.
The Role
In this essential and innovative role you will lead the development of new products, managing the critical path from concept to launch, whilst ensuring that technical and quality standards are achieved.
You’ll manage a small team of developers, helping to nurture and challenge them. This role is also hands-on and creative, so you’ll be at home in the development kitchen coming up with new concepts, conducting product testing and ensuring projects are on schedule.
You’ll also stay up to date with the latest trends, in order to apply your knowledge and passion for food into innovative ideas that will also enhance the existing range of products.
You’ll own key customer accounts, acting as the dedicated contact to provide accurate communication both internally and externally. This will also come in the form presenting new and exciting concepts to customers, discussing feasibility and commercial potential.
The Person
Suit a proactive and passionate food graduate who has experience of working as a Senior Technologist or NPD Manager and is now looking to develop their NPD and customer management skills within this innovative chilled sector. Ideally you’ll have a proven track record of developing chilled food products. Excellent presentation and project management skills are also crucial along with great interpersonal skills as you’ll be working closely with internal teams to drive projects forward.
