Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in healthcare staffing at a national level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the procurement of staffing services or having headed up major NHS staff banks. As a Non-Executive Director, you will provide independent oversight and contribute to the strategic direction of HHIG. Your expertise in healthcare staffing will be crucial in helping us achieve our growth objectives through strategic talent acquisition and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide independent judgment and advice on the company's strategic plans, particularly in relation to healthcare staffing and talent management.
Leverage your experience to identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities in the healthcare staffing sector.
Support the executive team in integrating and optimizing staffing solutions within acquired businesses.
Offer insights on market trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape in healthcare staffing.
Ensure that HHIG adheres to high standards of corporate governance.
Act as a sounding board and mentor for the executive team.
Attend and contribute to monthly board meetings, offering your expertise to guide strategic decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Extensive experience in healthcare staffing at a national level, with a focus on procurement of staffing services or leadership of major NHS staff banks.
Strong understanding of the healthcare sector and its staffing needs.
Proven ability to assess and integrate acquired businesses to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and a commitment to the highest standards of corporate governance.
Ability to dedicate 1 day per month to board meetings and related responsibilities.
