Purpose of this position:
The Non-Domestic Energy Assessor is responsible for conducting energy assessments on non-domestic buildings and producing Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), and for modelling and reporting improvement scenarios.
Key responsibilities
Conduct energy assessments on non-domestic buildings.
Use specialised software to model the energy use of the building and produce an EPC.
Provide recommendations to assist with client compliance requirements.
Ensure that all energy assessments are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations, conventions, and guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of energy assessments and EPCs produced.
Stay up to date with developments in the field of energy assessment and keep relevant knowledge and skills current.
Attending in-house and remote training and professional development opportunities as required.
Ensure high quality work is delivered in a timely manner.
Provide specialist advice on energy efficiency and renewable energy measures.
