Job summaryThis is the perfect opportunity
to be part of a diverse team providing assessment, diagnostics, diagnosis,
treatment, advice and referrals. As a UTC GP you will be
considered a key person in day to day clinical leadership and expertise within
the department. You will be working autonomously within
your sphere of competency as alead clinicianin adiverse,
multi-skilled teamthat includes Advanced Practitioners, Physician
Associates, Paediatric ANPs, Emergency Practitioners and Live Well Coaches. On each shift, you will provide
expert advice and second opinions for patients seen and treated by junior
members of staff. With links to both VTS and
Greenwich University, you will have access to a range of CPD courses and the
opportunity to become a GP trainer in order to guide future generations of
GPs. We work closely with the ICS, ICB, Local Trust and various other local
shareholders to provide opportunities to learn, innovate and contribute
new ideas. This is a genuine opportunity to

are looking for full and part time practitioners on a permanent
salaried basis.The service is 365 days per year, 7 days a week and this role will be working nights from 8pm-8am.Main duties of the jobPrincipal
duties and responsibilities-
Take responsibility for the patients assigned
through the streaming process.-
Perform assessment of patients needs, plan,
implement and evaluate clinical treatment and care using advanced clinical
knowledge and skills. -
To assess diagnostics including ECGs, bloods,
urinalysis, and X-rays. -
Be able to discuss with patients and carers the
range of possible treatment/ management options and their implications before
treatment decisions are made. -
Instigate and implement clinical management and
treatment changes when appropriate.-
Contribute to specific care guidelines and
standards supporting the care of patients across the health economy. -
To implement Health and Safety and Risk
Management appropriate to area of work-
To deliver aspects of the Clinical Governance
Agenda, following the direction of the Clinical Leadership.-
Contribute to and manage various elements of
auditing in the UTC. -
To have overall responsibility for other members
of the clinical team within the UTC, including their learning and development.-
Work as a clinical mentor where appropriate for
the junior members of the clinical team.-
Be aware of, recognise and appropriate deal with
or escalate safeguarding issues as and when they arise as well as being a

well as to Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and community intermediate care

Qualifications

EssentialQualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training CCT)

Professional Registration
