Night Operations Manager - Bristol, Avonmouth
We are looking for a driven and motivated logistics manager who will oversee all aspects of our distribution operation during the night shift.Reporting to the Depot Manager you will lead a large team across our warehouse and transport operation at our Bristol, Avonmouth depot.
This will be a demanding environment which will require an individual with a proven management background and a ‘can-do’ business focussed approach. Strong and inspiring leadership will be required coupled with outstanding customer service, aligned with lean operating costs.
As this is a night time role your working hours will be between the hours of 6pm and 6am and will include weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:
Creating and maintaining a positive working environment
Managing key indicators to be the very best

Local Personnel-related management and application of relevant legislation

All warehousing and transport disciplines

Financial management awareness
Strong planning and organisational skills
Great people manager, who can lead and develop an effective team
Assertive, prepared to see through plans and overcome obstacles
Good all-round warehousing and distribution experience
Desire to do the right thing at the lowest cost
