Duties:
Provide assessment and treatment for a wide ranging complex caseload of adults with learning disability to achieve well-being outcomes using a collaborative frameworkWork across a range of settings e.g. domiciliary, adult training centres, etcHave cross responsibility to progress and develop the SLT service to support clients undergoing transition in collaboration with Transition officersProvide specialist advice, guidance, supervision and support
Requirements of the Adult Learning Disability Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:
Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registrationRecent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
