Our client, an established Accountancy Practice based in Belfast is currently seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will work on a range of clients across various sectors, and will have excellent opportunities for growth and progression.

The Role:
Preparing and interpreting management accounts and KPI schedules in light of client’s activities and plans
Short-term cash budgeting and longer-term financial modelling
Support with working with capital management, operational efficiency, and general business decision making
Advising on tax-efficient profit extraction
Capital gains advice and planning
VAT advice and support
Preparation of statutory accounts
Preparation of corporation tax returns and VAT returns
The Person:
Newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
Previous experience of working in general practice, undertaking broad and varying tasks
Experience of managing a portfolio of clients
Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems
Able to prepare, personal tax, corporation tax, VAT and payroll returns
Understanding of project costing and overhead absorption
Understanding of the financial model of different types of business
