Job DescriptionPrepare, examine, and analyse accounting records and financial statements.Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.Preparation of VAT returnsAssess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards of reports and financial data.Assisting with the audit process with external auditorsSupporting key, senior external and internal stakeholdersDevelop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.Advise management about issues such as budgeting and forecasting, process improvement and efficiencyAppraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property. The Successful Applicant A successful Accountant should have: A solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.ACA/ACCA/CIMAProficiency in relevant software applications.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Good business acumen for problem solving.Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
