New Homes Consultant
North Leeds

My client a prestigious Property company based in North Leeds is looking to recruit a New Homes Consultant.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous working knowledge and experience in either estate agency or Land and New Homes sales. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is the requirement to be comfortable dealing with people at all levels. You will liaise with solicitors, banks and mortgage companies, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to and client expectations are met, managing and resolving any complications along the way. You should have exceptional administrative and organisational skills which you will use to manage a high volume of tasks within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* You will report to the Group Head of Land and New Homes working as part of our team to achieve a high level of success.
* Give guidance to purchasers on the sales process and what we expect from them in regards to progressing the sale
* To ensure that all customers are given an exceptional service during the stressful period of exchange and completion.
* To be responsible for accurately recording all information collated from telephone and face to face contact on CRM system.
* You will liaise with solicitors, banks and mortgage companies, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to and client expectations are met, managing and resolving any complications along the way.
* Be able to build good relationships with solicitors and financial advisers
* Have understanding and knowledge of help to buy and deal with applications
* Be able to manage multiple cases at one time and effectively communicate with and update your key stakeholders within the home buying process to ensure a smooth completion
* Provide detailed reports for each development on progression with thorough updates
* Provide support with viewings, general enquiries and reservations during periods of high demand.
* Provide support to the branch network and developer clients.
* Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
Skills
* A passion for property & people
* Ideally a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an estate agency progressing sales to completion
* Experience of working in Estate Agency and a proven track record of success in this profession preferred
* A positive mind-set and a willingness to adapt and learn
* Personal drive and initiative
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Able to work in high pressure environment
* Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing and computer literate.
* Ability to project an image of friendly professionalism that will bring credit to the Company
* To be well dressed and presented at all times in line with company dress code.
* Good IT literacy, familiar with Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Problem solving abilities with a good and appropriate use of initiative
* To maintain an enthusiastic & high energy approach to work.
* To be able to work independently and / or within a team.
