Fantastic fully remote new business sales role for someone who can close mid-market sales of ERP and / or accounting software, working for a Sage Platinum Elite Partner, headquartered in Europe, a track of 11 years' growth with 120 employees in 7 countries. Base salary to £70k with 3-6% commission on software sales and other services, so an OTE of £110k to £130k uncapped. Plus, annual holiday is uncapped, and the car allowance is very generous.
This company are a firm of Sage gurus, they sit on the business advisory council for Sage, they are in the CEO circle of Sage Partners, and they focus solely on Sage X3 and Sage Intacct. They scope, design, develop, customise, and implement unique Sage solutions for each individual client and have state of the art data centres for hosting and maintaining clients' systems.
You are not expected to generate leads. The job is to work with qualified leads, plus lots of excellent referrals, and take these through the entire sales process to the close of deal. You will sell the 2 main Sage Enterprise solutions, Sage Intacct, and Sage X3, and will work with an excellent marketing team, plus a dedicated Pre-Sales Consultant who will create tailored demonstrations based on your briefs and will do the scoping, and you will have strong delivery and support people to implement the software and keep the clients happy.
You would be expected to do
4 x Sage X3 deals per year (typically they are 50 users and worth £100k) plus in addition you would do around 12 x Sage Intacct deals which are typically finance focused and worth £25k for 5-10 users, and additionally, selling services will bring you in another £15-20k p.a.
Qualities and experience required:
Demonstrated history of successful sales of ERP or accounting software to the mid-market
Consultative solutions sales approach
Can develop and maintain an active pipeline of net-new qualified prospects
You can work with these prospects, and develop a deep understanding of their needs, then translate those needs into solution requirements that will satisfy their demands
Have enough understanding of the accounting functions of ERP to talk coherently to an FD about their finance issues
Ability to take a lead through to client proposition, contract negotiation and closure
Focus on cultivating productive business relationships based on trust and professionalism
Genuine desire to help companies adopt new ERP solutions and processes and reap the rewards that these bring
