They are the largest and fastest growing, privately owned drinks company in Britain. Together, we are seeking a New Business Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the pre-agreed budgeted margin for designated areas, increasing the number of trading accounts, and retaining and
growing customer spend through category upselling. This role is pivotal in representing our company to the market and vice versa. Day-to-day of the role:
Delivering your contribution to the depot gross margin.Managing the debt ledger for your accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments and accurate completion of account forms.Achieving targets on drive brands in partnership with brand partners.Overdelivering on every aspect of customer service within your influence.Taking full responsibility for the management of your accounts from inception to completion.Liaising effectively with internal departments such as telesales, credit control, sales support, distribution, and administration.Organising technical installations for draught beer dispensing equipment.Consulting with customers to offer impartial advice on promotional activities to help grow their businesses.Liaising with brand representatives operating within your area.Successfully promoting our own brand products. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in on-trade or off-trade industrySpecialist knowledge of the drinks industry, products, and the on-trade market.Previous success as a new business salesperson and sales account managerProven track record in sales and meeting growth targets.Excellent customer service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records.Strong teamwork, communication, and relationship-building skills.WSET Level 1 qualification is preferred.Commercial experience in selling wine, ideally in the on-trade sector.
