New Business Account Executive
Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits and monthly commission
Based in Basildon, Essex
The Client:
We are partnered a dynamic, creative, Independent Insurance Brokers based in Essex. They provide support to their Commercial Clients covering a multitude of policy's from General Commercial, Motor, Construction and PI.
They are now keen to recruit a New Business Account Executive to continue to develop their current opportunities and explore new pastures for growth.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for generating New Business within the Commercial SME arena, inclusive of Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Manufacturing, Shops/Offices, and Construction.
You will have the freedom to use your own initiative and to grow the book of business, where you will earn monthly commission of any new business brought in.
You will build and maintain strong relations with new and existing Clients.
Attend Client and Underwriter meetings with the Director.
Collates and communicates clients' requirements to ensure appropriate marketing of the risk
Prepares or checks market presentations
Liaises with and advises clients, investigating and resolving queries
Is aware of, and satisfies, territory, tax and legislation requirements
Responds to market and third party queries as appropriate
Produces high quality and compliant market documentation ensuring appropriate authorisations are secured
Takes responsibility for data entry to Acturis, credit control and chasing payments where required
Experience
You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Executive.
Experience within Commercial Insurance is essential.
You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ideally you will have experience in using Acturis.
You will be proactive, enthusiastic and be confident.
