Ideally, coming from a digital or software sales background, you will be responsible for creating revenue streams from new business acquisition supported by active marketing campaigns and strong tender bid writing. You will have a clear understanding of the challenges presented from all aspects of the sales process and value long-term customer success.Purpose and objectivesOpen dialogue with UK government (local and central) to develop direct opportunities for the sale of verso SaaS platformProvide consultative-led ‘free thinking’ and creative approach to prospecting and opportunity development utilising the company’s disruptive technology to improving the management of data and engagementMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesTender bid writing for software contract opportunities as part of a win teamProspecting through identifying, qualifying and developing sales pipelineAssist in the development of robust sales strategies for sector growthDeliver complex sales cycle articulating and demonstrating the value of our services at C-LevelDevelop market understanding of customer demands their pain points and opportunities for improvement aligned with company strategyInitial lead to explore opportunities for improvement with prospects for data-led solutions to complex business problemsProvide competitive insight and thought leadership to shape internal strategy and prospect engagementDevelop business case for change supported by technology innovation that delivers demonstrable returns both financially as well as real world time, workload and workflow benefitsExplore partnership approaches that expand current avenues for business development with aligned suppliers to the public sectorSkills & ExperienceA proven track record in closing public sector sales opportunities through RFI, pre quals, ITTs and tendersUnderstanding of CCS Frameworks (Crown Commercial Services) as part of a developing a pipeline of opportunitiesExperience engaging with C-Level and senior executive decision makers developing strong relationshipsAbility to work in isolation and as part of a team to support problem solving and creative approach to new business acquisitionMotivation to working with an innovative and creative cloud data technology environment fostering positivity in exploring new applications for software, solutions and servicesFlexible working within core hoursAdditional holiday which further increases with length of serviceThis position will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.Get in touch by sending your CV and telling us a bit about yourself.
