JOB TITLE: New Business - Commercial Account Executive
LOCATION: Belfast / Hybrid
Our client is a dynamic and thriving company in search of a talented Commercial Account Executive focussing on New Business to join their Sales department. As a key member of their team, you will play a crucial role in meeting their customers' needs while driving new business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining commercial accounts, using their expertise in the insurance market to provide specialized sales advice. Reporting to the Director, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your excellent business development skills and contribute to the firm's strategic goals.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Part to fully qualified ACII, leading to Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-mail, and internet usage.
A thorough understanding of insurance market trends and products.
Minimum of 2 years' experience providing specialized sales advice in the insurance market.
Skills Required:
Excellent customer service skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong ability to gather and analyse customer information.
Persuasive and influential with the capability to identify and respond to customers' needs.
Strategic and operational planning acumen for both short and long-term business environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with existing commercial customers while targeting new customers through effective marketing strategies.
Proactively create new commercial products in line with market trends and customer demands.
Manage assigned commercial product promotions and sales campaigns effectively.
Strategically plan product offerings and sales initiatives to maintain the company's market lead through exemplary customer service.
Collaborate with account handlers to prepare commercial sales documentation accurately and efficiently.
Take ownership of customer accounts, resolving inquiries promptly, and fostering positive customer relationships.
Seek feedback from customers and respond to their needs effectively.
Identify and address conflicts of interest appropriately.
Support departmental Key Performance Indicators and sales targets as directed by the Sales Manager.
Comply with the firm's policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, including the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and FCA regulations.
Uphold the firm's policy on Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty.
Maintain ethical behaviour and adhere to the firm's Training and Competence procedures and continued professional training and development requirements.
Fulfil any other reasonable duties as directed.
