Network Security Engineer

NetworkSecurity Engineer | Up to £500-£550 P/Day | Inside IR35 | HybridGravitas has partnered with a leadingFinancial Services client of ours, who are currently hiring for anexperienced Network Security Engineer to join the business on a hybridbasis. The successful candidate will have a substantial amount ofhands-on network security experience, and preferably possessexperience with various technologies and demonstrate the ability toactively contribute tothe team and deliver results.This position requires practical involvement andcollaboration with third-party outsourcing entities, therefore being astrong communicator will be a key requirement.Essential skills:Excellent understanding of Web Gateway proxies, ideallyMcafee/Trelix.Good knowledge of Checkpoint firewalls,Cloudguards, VPNs, Remote access and IPS.Well-roundedunderstanding of various network technologies.Cisco routingand switching, BGP, EIGRP, OSPFGood insight of InfoSecSecurity principlesGood understanding of Privilege AccessManagement, SIEM configuration and vulnerability managementPrevious experience working across general multi-factorauthentication.Technical certifications in one of thefollowing: CCNA, CCSP, CCNP & CCSEThis contract is an initial 3-month duration, however, thescope of work has a long-term outlook so there is an excellent chanceof extension.Please forward a copy of your mostrecent Cv, for an immediate response.
