Job DescriptionContract: 6 MonthsHybrid: Portsmouth£550-650 Per Day Inside IR35Our client are leading the way in energy delivery and are currently looking for an Information Security Consultant to work with the Cyber Security Programme and Non-Cyber Programmes, ensuring that our clients projects are securely designed, implemented, and operated in line with legislative, regulatory, and business security requirements.To engage as one of several Information Security Specialists working within a range of Programmes, liaising with Project & Programme management, business stakeholders, architects, business analysts and suppliers, whilst working under regulatory conditions, to help to determine the security posture for our clients IT environment.You will possess technical security expertise coupled with a strong team focus, excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills.Key Responsibilities: Project Security consultant supporting Cyber and non-Cyber projectsProviding guidance and input to business analysts, architects, and project managers to ensure solution designs and project deployments are aligned to security best practice and our clients policies and standardsSupport projects through formal tender process, feasibilities phases, design phases, implementation, and validation phases, including risk assessmentsSecurity Architecture and Design- Review of Design documents and standing member of Architecture Review Board and Technical Design AuthorityBe the Security touchpoint for Business Analysts and PMO projects.Produce in-flight project functional and non-functional security requirements and embed into existing processes.Assist with creation of security artefacts for our next phase of maturity e.g. supplier assurance, exceptions processPost-implementation / pre-go live auditing of initial requirements for cloud-based projects, checking agreed design proposals matched against delivered solutions.Providing support across all Security Team functions and providing assistance as at when required for additional CISO tasking.Proven experience inRemote AccessNetwork Operations CentreNetwork Security VisibilityWeb ProxyDesirable experience in API Management / SecurityBroad experience in Security TechnologiesIdeal candidate should have experience in utilities.
