As a Cisco Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable network solutions that meet our clients requirements.Job Responsibilities/ObjectivesDesign, deploy, and maintain Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure solutions.Collaborate with network architects and other stakeholdersConfigure and troubleshoot Cisco components, including Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC), switches, and routers.Perform capacity planning and optimisation to ensure efficient utilisation of Cisco resources.Conduct network performance analysis and monitoring to identify and resolve issues proactively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate with other network and infrastructure components, such as firewalls and load balances.Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.Required Skills/ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have the following:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco solutions in enterprise environments.In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI fabric architecture, switches, and routers.Hands-on experience with network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VXLAN.Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Solid understanding of data centre networking concepts, including load balancing, high availability, and disaster recovery.Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now with your updated CV in Microsoft Word/PDF format.DisclaimerNotwithstanding any guidelines given to level of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.Square One is acting as both an employment agency and an employment business, and is an equal opportunities recruitment business.
