We are a team that support, create, develop and improve and are proud to be a key area responsible for the support and management of infrastructure within the Connells Group.What we are looking forWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer you will play a crucial role in supporting, implementing and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise supporting Cisco, SDWAN, load balancing, Firewalls and Wi-Fi technologies will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of our network.Within this role you will be responsible for supporting BAU requests, incidents and escalations and delivering against project implementation tasks.This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our Leighton Buzzard office.Key ResponsibilitiesImplementing network infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and best practicesSupport and maintenance of our core network infrastructureMonitor network traffic, analyse network performance data, and identify and resolve network issuesPerform BAU changes across all systems under our change control processTroubleshooting network incident investigations in our LAN and WAN environmentsWork closely with 3rd party suppliers such as network providers, network security providers, and service partnersCreating low-level and high-level design documents for network infrastructure projectsConfiguring and managing our portfolio of network products and technologies including Cisco and CheckpointTroubleshooting network-related issues and providing solutions to improve performance and reliabilityConducting network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standardsCollaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of network infrastructure projectsKeeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to network infrastructure and securityParticipating in the on-call rota Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 Years' experience in a similar roleMinimum CCNA certifiedExperience of troubleshooting complex enterprise networks and associated technologiesExperience of using tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG and other troubleshooting toolsExperience of administering and troubleshooting the following technologies and platformsCisco ACI / APICCisco ASA and FirepowerCisco Nexus and Catalyst switchingCisco ISESD-WANCheckpoint Gateways and MaestroMeraki switches and Access PointsA10 Load BalancersConnells Group is one of the largest and most successful estate agency and property services providers in the UK and as of March 2021 also encompasses Countrywide.
