Responsible for elements of a technical solution but typically works into a Responsible Design Lead.Delivers designs that adhere to T&SD gold standards and governance process.Leading low level engagements (You will be able to recognise the business costs associated with deliveries and escalate within T&SD when something appears wrong.You will understand your role within T&SD and the people that you work for within T&SD and understand what sector your current customers are aligned to.You will be responsible for providing a detailed summary of situations to those around and react to enquiries and present and explain technical aspects of a design to a technical audience within the BT or external.Working collaboratively in an office and remote environment to help deliver world class service for our customers.The Successful ApplicantSufficient technical knowledge of more than one technology or product in a specific T&SD area to enable allocation to T&SD deliveries. Should be looking to broaden skills to look at different products in the same T&SD area.In-depth technical knowledge of - VMware | ESXi 5,6,7 | vSphere 5,6,7 | Veeam | vSAN | Windows Server Deployment | Windows Server Configuration | Active Directory Services (AD) | Domain Name System (DNS) | AD Certificate Services (AD CS) | Group Policies and Security Settings (GPO) | Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) | Server Virtualization | Remote Desktop Services (RDS) | PowerShell Scripting | Patch Management | Linux Server Deployment | Linux Server Administrator | Linux Package Management | HP MSA Storage Solutions | Commvault | NetApp |.Basic understanding of SLAs and how actions impact business.Security clearance from SC to NPPV3 level or ability to gain these.Implementations.Project management not essential bit desirable and the ability to organise teams and engage with customers.
