Join us!Role Description:Our team consists of 25 Network Operations engineers, conversant in a range of Data, Security, Voice and Collaboration technologies. This role is to be based in Camberley .We work closely together and support each other, and we are known for being one of the high performing teams in the business. We are part of a follow the sun model so this involves interaction with our global colleagues in the AMRS and APAC regions (specifically the US, Singapore and India).Responsibilities: As part of the team, you will provide operational support for routing and switching in Data Center and DMZ environments, comprising of technologies such as Cisco IOS, NX-OS and Arista CloudVision
To ensure smooth operations, you will also provide global support in the areas of SD-WAN, wireless and supplementary technologies.
You will interpret and respond to service impacting alerts, manage issue resolutions and collaborate with other teams
to achieve a common goal.
You will lead production support triage efforts for network infrastructure incidents, manage bridge line troubleshooting, and engage in technical research and troubleshooting when necessary.Provide status updates and technical detail for awareness communications and ensure accuracy of all communications sent.Identify possible production failure scenarios, vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement and take ownership of escalation. You will participate in creation of technical documentation to streamline technical remediation timelines where possible.
