Network Commissioning Engineer | Manchester, Liverpool or Crewe | £30,000Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking a Network Commissioning Engineer to work for a leading Global technology company. Role based either Manchester, Liverpool or Crewe.As the ideal candidate you will have a background in Networking/Network Engineer along with Electrical Engineering knowledge.You will work alongside the installation team and commissioning the solution which provides the on-board and internet connectivity. Initially a project-based role at one site which will lead to a critical field engineering Digital train specialist support role. You will become the go to specialist and lead technical engineers for the Digital Train solution.You will be client facing, physically fit, able to resolve problems, troubleshoot, support customers and assist in delivery, installations and commissioning. Whilst building on your IT Networking experience you will be supported and fully trained on the unique solution being deployed.Job duties:You will be the local, onsite representative, complete post installation, on-site equipment configuration and system commissioning.Provide on-site quality assurance, ensuring the correct components are installed in the correct vehicle and correctly installed to the design.Trouble shoot and resolve any post installation network issues, support and maintain the deployment solution.The must haves:Proven LAN/WAN Networking and wireless technology experience with either Network +, CCENT or CCNA or equivalentElectrical Engineering knowledge, ideally with relevant City & Guilds NVQ or HNC/HND electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications : know how to test equipment.Vehicle Telematics experience idealThis job roles offers flexibility and full support from the team, a great working environment, to include but not limited to pension, childcare vouchers, team building days and events.If you are interested, please send a copy of your CV to Claire at Jonothan Bosworth for more information.
