This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmedJob overviewAn exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Network Architect to be based at either of the following BCUHB sites: Bangor/Abergele/Wrexham.Working as a key member of the Voice and Data team within the ICT department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, installation, and on-going operational management and support of the Health Board’s voice and data infrastructures which are primarily based upon modern Cisco technologies.Main duties of the jobIdeally, the post holder should have a relevant degree, and /or CCIE qualifications, and extensive equivalent experience of one or more of the following:Data Networking Technologies (including LAN and WAN)Network Protocols (TCP/IP and Ethernet)Voice and Video Communication TechnologiesNetwork Security Technologies (including Next Gen Firewall, and Intrusion Prevention Systems)Wireless Networking TechnologiesAdditionally the post holder will have excellent organisational, documentation, analytical and interpersonal skills, and they will be required to provide specialist technical 3 rd
line support to departmental colleagues and 3 rd
