Job Title: NDT Inspector

Contract: Permanent

Role Overview – NDT Inspector

Our leading client are looking for an experienced NDT Inspector to join their team within their exciting Wolverhampton based facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up NDT equipment, inspection of bespoke hydraulic components and completing documentation on result findings.

Key Responsibilities – NDT Inspector


  • Perform NDT process control checks with precision and accuracy.
  • Generate NDT technique data sheets for level 3 approval.
  • Interpret test results with keen attention to detail.
  • Complete comprehensive test reports and effectively present findings.
  • Working to technical standards and reading engineering drawings.
  • Assist in audits to ensure compliance with quality accreditations.
  • Understanding of codes, standards, and regulations you are working to.
  • Adapt to lean practices in line with company principles.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and self-discipline in all tasks.

Key Expertise – NDT Inspector


  • Preferably possess a recognized engineering apprenticeship.
  • Minimum Level 1 EN4179 / NAS410 certification
  • Proficient computer literacy.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement techniques.
  • Flexibility to handle various tasks within the department according to skill level.
  • Ability to obtain self-certification and quality stamp holder status after the qualifying period.
  • Willingness to work a shift pattern and overtime as required.
