Yolk Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading heat treatment company in their search for an NDT Inspector. This is a company that can offer progression, professional development and where you can work with the Aerospace, Defence and Automotive sectors to name a few!

This is what you'll be doing as NDT Inspector:

• Responsible for operating within the NDT facility
• Carry out daily inspection checks
• Responsible for maintaining the NDT facility including NADCAP and customer approvals
• Responsible for stock replenishment within the NDT facility
• Support the quality and production departments within incoming and final inspection activites
• Support internal lab with metallographic preparation and testing
• Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure preceeding operations have been carried out correctly
• To train others when deemed competent in a task to do so
• Good housekeeping (5s) of own work area and contribute to the general upkeep of the working environment
• Become familiar with the "check -work-check" process and be committed to a "right first time" approach to all tasks carried out
• Operate in a safe manner and undertake any training necessary to enable you to fulfil the requirements of your position

The experience you will bring as NDT Inspector:

• Qualified to EN4179 Level 2 or equivalent
• Documented NDT experience within the aerospace industry
• Experience in technique writing
• Experience within a NADCAP approved NDT facility
• Competent in the use of measuring equipment and measuring techniques
• Experience in reading engineering drawings
• A team player with a "can do attitude" and attention to detail
