NDT Engineer

The basics:

Job Title: NDT Engineer – Quality department

Location: Ilkeston

Shift: Day Shift - Mon-Thur (7.00am to 4.00pm or 8.00am to 5.00pm) & Fri (7.00am to 12.00pm)

Contracted hours per week: 39 hrs anything over paid at OT rates

Pay: up to £40000

Role: Permanent

Work environment: Clean, modern, warm, first-class manufacturing facilities

Overview:

Working out of first class manufacturing facilities, we require an additional NDT Engineer due to growth in work load for this large scale precision engineering business.  

The ideal candidate / NDT Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• 
  

  Previous experience working with Aerospace standards

• 
  

  Worked with heat treatment and or NDT processes

• 
  

  Experience preparing for NADCAP audits

• 
  

  Experience carrying out internal audits

• 
  

  Previous experience conducting non conformance reports

• 
  

  Any experience supporting quality accreditations such as AS9100, AS13100, ISO14001.
