Job Description:
This impressive mansion, gardens and rare breed farm is one of the most dynamic and varied in the National Trust. The Welcome Team has a hugely important role, they create the first and last impression visitors have of Wimpole. It’s the team’s role to ensure visitors have a fantastic welcome and goodbye. This role will need to lead for exceptional customer service and achieve multiple financial targets to ensure we can care for and look after Wimpole, for now and forever.

Job Responsibilities:
You’ll be using your creativity and communication skills to inspire and motivate your team of staff and volunteers to perform at their brilliant best.
You’ll engage with all our visitors to inspire support through fundraising and membership, helping our visitors have the best experience possible.
You’ll have supervisory responsibility for the Welcome Team working with the Welcome Manager to ensure high performance.
You’ll have responsibility for the day to day operation of the welcome building and car park, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of service, presentation and visitor experience.
Job Requirements:
Experience of inspiring and motivating through coaching and role modelling
Strong IT skills and knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures
Excellent people skills, enabling strong relationships, both externally and internally
Understanding of the aims and ethos of the National Trust
Is hard working and a committed and a team player
Outstanding organisation and planning skills, and a good eye for detail
Experience of working to multiple deadlines and managing own workload
A flexible customer focused approach, with exceptional standards of customer service
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven record of achieving multiple targets and budgets
