Alecto Recruitment is working with a market leader in the food waste Anaerobic Digestion sector, our client is looking open a new role within the Sales Team and is searching for a National Sales & Marketing Manager.

Package

  • Based in Doncaster.
  • Hours - 40 hours per week, working office hours based around 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
  • Pay - �55,000.
  • Holiday Allowance - 25 days, plus bank holidays.
  • Private Health Care Scheme.

The Role

  • Oversee the sales and marketing team to ensure all set goals and objectives are met.
  • Prepare and adjust quotes according to the established pricing policy, renegotiating terms as necessary.
  • Continuously collect and update market information, monitoring competitors' services and pricing, and respond appropriately.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with projected growth.
  • Build and sustain a pipeline of potential customers at both regional and national levels.
  • Identify opportunities in suitable organic waste streams and collaborate with the sales team to advance these opportunities.
  • Evaluate the sales team's performance to identify trends and areas for growth.
  • Ensure that sales methods and applications are consistent with the brand.
  • Marketing, Public Relations, and Technical Support:
  • Advance and publicize the company's activities within the industry and among customers.
  • Manage and organize all marketing, advertising, and promotional efforts.
  • Seek out opportunities for sales campaigns.
  • Participate in and represent at trade events and seminars, promoting the brand and its values.
  • Provide expert advice and technical support to customers.

The Person

  • Educated to A-level as a minimum, preferably degree level.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ability and willingness to travel, when required.
  • Be experienced in a commercial sales-led environment, within a B2B or other similar customer focused sector.
  • Previous management experience.
  • It is desirable to have a working knowledge of the waste/recycling/ Anaerobic Digestion sector and the food production industry.
  • Be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels of understanding and interest and be able to build strong working relationships.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and numerical skills - also must be proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure, be flexible, practical and hard working with a strong work ethic. Along with sound negotiating and influencing skills.
