Victorinox products embody the brand and ensure consumers are best prepared to everyday challenges by offering smart and masterful solutions.We are now looking to recruit 2 National Sales Managers in the UK - one to head up our Knife business, and the other for our Watch business.
Job Description As the National Sales Manager, you are responsible for implementing Victorinox's strategic plans and commercial operations in the UK in either the blades or watch category. You will be responsible for the development and growth of the Victorinox business and will be the first point of contact for your customer base.You will contribute to the overall strategic goals and ensure the delivery of sales and budgets through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel in all accounts. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:Delivering against targets and action plans (revenues, profitability, stock turns, qualitative goals, etc.)Providing timely, regular and accurate reportingBuilding sustainable business growth according to key market strategyResponsible for all sales channels (own distribution networks, third-party distributors)Responsible for brand/sub-brand development according to brand strategyProposing measures (sales, marketing, customer service, etc.) through continuous market evaluation for his region or the divisionReporting on competitive activitiesBuilding strong relationship with existing distributors and new onesManaging Key AccountsCoordination and liaison with other functions such as marketing, customer service, logistics, product development, HQ, etc.Implementing Victorinox's strategic plan's commercial operations in the regionIdentifying marketing & sales strategies, measures and action plans to meet targetsBuilding strong and solid relations with our key partners and developing the respective sales channels accordinglyInteracting and coordinating with internal (divisional and cross-divisional) colleagues as well as with external stakeholders The Successful Applicant YOUR PROFILE:We are looking for high calibre, commercial individuals from either the knife/cutlery/kitchenware sector, or watchesRelevant and multiple management experience of all UK chains and customersProven brand building experienceUnderstanding and experience of multiple channel management (department stores, chains, franchises, independents, mass-market etc.)Strong major account management experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and develop the business as a functional manager, as well as HQ collaboration within a global companyAble to multi-task and handle multiple, complex projects, with clear ability to self - motivate and work alone What's on Offer WE OFFER:A unique company culture with a family atmosphere and a management strategy that is focused on long-term, sustainable businessCompetitive salary with performance based componentAttractive benefits including private medical insurance, life insurance, health cashback plan and staff discount.Company car25 days holiday and Bank HolidayIn-house training as well as support for further external training INTERESTED?Please apply above.
