We will ONLY be considering applications from existing Homebase team members for this vacancy. The roleAt Homebase, we are on a journey to change how we sell products and services and as National Sales Manager you will have a pivotal role in making this a reality.You will do this by analysing sales, the promotional plan and team performance, creating insights that inspire your team and key stakeholders to achieve the room solutions targets and deliver great service. What will you be doing? Including but not restricted to; how we deploy our showrooms, the journey from first contact to successful installation, also our aftersales and the presentation of our Show Rooms. What you need to be successful:Deliver the sales targets by balancing out priorities and resources. Setting stretching objectives (tactical and strategic) to grow the Room Solutions business and people capabilities.Use networking and influencing skills to ensure cross-functional understanding and support for the Room Solution strategic and functional goals (upwards as well as peers and team).Deliver operational excellence by controlling costs and budgets and supporting the wider Homebase business objectives. Develop an understanding of our systems to develop data-driven outcomes.Improve the customer experience by role modelling professional sales behaviour and coaching, developing and training the team in line with our selling plan.Motivate and engage the teams by developing robust practices around communication, recruitment, succession planning and performance management.Set up a continuous improvement methodology looking at all customer touch points from home visits to KBSE training and development.Analyse sales data and provide feedback to optimise sales plans and opportunities.
