We have a fantastic opportunity for a National New business Manager to join our Fresh Direct business, reporting into the Head of Business development.As a National New Business Manager, you will win Commercial new business, with customers whose food spend is £500,000 per year and above, via active prospecting and by managing a pipeline of prospect opportunities. You will be building cross functional relationships with prospect customers and building a pipeline for Fresh Direct to be their next supply partner.To work with the new business implementation team and lead the launch of new business wins.Role responsibility & Key Accountabilities:To work with Sysco GB colleagues to win profitable new business, via active prospecting and management of your pipeline of prospect opportunities.Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets.To liaise and influence your Sysco GB cross functional colleagues to deliver high quality presentations, product demonstrations and tender submissions.To work with Sysco GB and Fresh Direct departments to lead the launch of new business wins.To be a proactive member of the Foodservice team by assisting development of business goals, objectives and strategic initiatives, and supporting colleagues as required.What are we looking for?We are looking for someone who is proactive, analytical and has the ability to provide expertise to negotiate tenders along with experience of winning high spend bulk business. You’ll be customer focussed and results driven with excellent communication and presentation skills, along with some prior experience of developing team members. Ideally you will come from a sales background with a passion for foodservice. You’ll be working to KPI’s and budgets so experience in this would be great, along with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.In return we offer a good basic salary, generous holiday allowance plus the option to purchase more, pension plus huge discounts on award- winning products.
