National Grid Competent Person - Plant Operator

National Grid Competent Person and Plant operator - must have Persons, 360 +- 10 tonnes and Lifting Ops certificate. 

National Grid Competent Person required for a busy contractor for a 6 month contract working on a substation in Wiltshire. This role will require a civils operative with the National Grid Competent Person certificate to start work and complete a 4 month contract on a substation for a tier one energy contractor. THe candidate will perform plant and lifting operations on site. 

The  National Grid Competent Person job will require:

• 360 driving and lifting ops work on all aspects of the scheme 


• Working closely with the Site Managers within the business


• Working with the management team to guide the projects in the right direction to be completed on time and under budget


• Running inductions, toolbox talks and making sure workers are safe at all times


• Ensuring work is completed to high standard 

The Site Manager & National Grid Competent Person ideal candidate will have:

• A strong civils background 


• National Grid Competent Person


• CPCS 360 above and below 10t 


• CPCS LIfting Ops


• Own transport to get to site at SN12 7QF


• A good attitude to work and willingness to work
