Job Description: National Accounts Manager
Package: negotiable base salary + performance bonus + car options + 25 days holiday + pension + health insurance
This a new role created in response to recent sales growth and continued ambition to win further market share.
The New National Accounts Manager Will Be Responsible For:
Developing and implementing plans that will achieve sales, margin and customer service standards across a small portfolio of grocery, convenience, discounter and High Street retail groups.
Cultivating strong relationships with national accounts, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
Negotiating trading agreements with national accounts to maximise mutual value
Analyse market trends and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities
Monitor and report on sales performance providing regular updates to senior management.
This is a home-based, hybrid role with one day each week at head office.

Candidate Profile: National Accounts Manager
To maximise our success and customer service standards in this role we are looking for:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a National Accounts Manager selling to major retailers.
A proven track record of sales development and margin management within the grocery, DIY, High Street or Discounter retail groups.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into actions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills. High attention to detail.
Salary/Benefits Information:
As well as a basic salary that reflects the importance of the role, the job holder will enjoy a performance based bonus scheme, fully expensed company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday, pension and healthcare benefits and all support required to be home-based.
