Futures are working on an exciting National Account Manager role on behalf of a market-leading, expert led FMCG business who have been established 50 years.
This business turns-over circa £200m and are part of a wider global group with a current turnover of $15 billion.
The business has achieved great growth over recent years through a successful DTC model and strong existing and new retailer relationships so it's a super exciting time to join the business.
In this role you will...
Maintain strong relationships with key national retail accounts; Curry's & John Lewis
Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic account plans that align with company objectives and customer needs
Negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms of trade to maximize profitability and market share
Analyse market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of account strategies
Monitor and manage account performance against targets, making adjustments as needed to achieve sales and profit objectives
Prepare and present regular business reviews and forecasts to senior management and key stakeholders
Key Skills/Experience Required:
A minimum of 4 years experience within National Accounts, with experience of managing Curry's &/or John Lewis
Strong understanding of the FMCG industry, including market dynamics, consumer trends, and competitive landscape
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships
Personable, autonomous and ambitious working style
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions
