Newly created Senior level National Accounts role – Senior National Account Manager / National Account Director.
The Role
- The Senior National Account Manager / National Account Director will play a pivotal role in developing strategic relationships with the company’s most important clients across Foodservice Wholesale and Contract Caterers, shaping our account-based management practices, and significantly impacting the trajectory of the company and their own career.
- A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship and capabilities builder, with the ability to sell from, and shape, our premium portfolio to meet the needs of a diversified customer base.
- The role will suit candidates with proven experience in the food industry, account-based management practices and who relish the opportunity to build relationships and practices from the ground up.

The Candidate
- Deep understanding of the foodservice market and wholesaler landscape is required. Specialist knowledge of frozen and chilled meat sector, preferably with a focus on sausages or related products is desired.
- Strong skills in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale accounts, particularly with national caterers, wholesalers, and possibly retailers. Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow key accounts and penetrate new market segments.
- Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet account requirements and deliver exceptional service
- A strong commercial acumen. Ability to analyse market trends, customer data, and sales performance to make informed decisions and solve complex problems. Highly proficient, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively articulate value propositions, negotiate contracts, and resolve conflicts.
- Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Kent (within the M25)
