The Role
As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts within the foodservice/food wholesalers sector across the Southwest region.
This role requires an understanding of the food industry, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
You will be tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with food wholesalers and end users, ensuring the successful promotion and distribution of all products.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts within the foodservice sector, including wholesalers and end users, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities for product placement and promotion within accounts, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
Customer Engagement: Regularly engage with customers to understand their requirements, provide product education, and offer solutions to meet their needs.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences, using this information to inform sales strategies and product development.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure the successful implementation of sales plans and strategies.
Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, tracking performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
Travel: Regular travel in the Southwest region, plus quarterly visits to Dublin.
Qualifications/Experience
Passion for food and cooking, with experience in the food industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating tenure and progression.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering results.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively.
Detail-oriented approach to product presentation and customer service.
