Note to applicants: The role is home-based with regular national travel required to visit new and existing clients as well as team meeting in the London based office.
Who You Are: As National Account Manager, Grocery you will be responsible for managing and developing accounts within the Grocery channel for the Soft Drinks category.You will build new or leverage existing buyer relationships to agree and execute an account plan which delivers against internal sales metrics and drives distribution of Nutrabolt products in the Grocery channel.The role requires a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys the challenge of working in a highly competitive category. We pride ourselves on being agile and innovative to win the hearts and minds of our buyers, retailers, and consumers.
This role is eligible to participate in our Sales Bonus Plan.
What You're Good At:
Own the P&L for your customer base and effectively manage them to deliver sales and profit targets.
Ensure agreed account plans are activated and deliver against the objectives with ability to pivot and renegotiate when required.
Professionally always represent the business and our brands.
Contribute to the wider sales plan & strategy irrespective of day-to-day business/channel responsibilities.
Develop existing relationships to unlock new listings, distribution increases and feature space opportunities to maximise sales and visibility for C4 Energy within the channel.
Create a compelling promotional and activation plan to drive sales whilst managing read across within the channel. Utilising all available touchpoints i.e. in-aisle, feature space, front of store chillers, meal deal, online etc
Work closely with both internal and external supply chain teams to maintain good availability across the retail network and drive compliance instore.
What You Contribute:
Experience of negotiating and running joint business plans with customers
Has strong commercial acumen to be able to develop powerful commercial propositions which can be developed into account plans & executed against
Understanding and confidence with P&L management and with management of both volume and profit forecasting processes
Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-starter, with high energy & high creativity to work through challenges & overcome them.
Has a strong ability to analyze data such as forecasts, sales trends, out of stocks, and seasonality trends
Proficient in all MS Office tools - Excel in particular
UK account management experience with key contacts
FMCG experience is preferred, ideally Soft Drinks
Degree level education is a positive but not essential.
Has a passion for the fitness industry and believes in what we do
