The opportunity:
Mackenzie Jones is very excited to be working with a pioneering & disrupter challenger brand who are enjoying fantastic growth with its portfolio of health & wellbeing drinks. Due to the brands phenomenal success, there is now an opportunity to join the team to drive the wholesale and on trade channel.
As the Foodservice Lead, you will take full P&L accountability alongside the development of medium and long-term strategic growth plans in order to deliver net profit and gross sales targets. You will also be responsible for building the overall category and customer within the Foodservice sector. It’s your gig.
What will my accountabilities be?
Exploding new business and managing the P&L across the Foodservice channel, to maximise the sales opportunity in the café, bar, restaurant, and travel sectors.
Generating leads for targeted accounts, drafting, and executing outreach to targets and managing a fast-moving sale pipeline.
Organising sales meetings, developing pitch decks, drafting compelling commercial and consumer-focused proposals
Executing sampling activations and events activations.
Executing marketing campaigns with existing accounts to increase product visibility, brand awareness and rate of sale.
Working with wholesale partners to liaise on targets and product delivery logistics.
Managing accounts with orders, inventory, pricing, and promotional materials - educating sales staff on product benefits, perfect serves, consumer audience and key drinking occasions.
Forecasting expected volumes and sales pipeline and communicating with production and operations teams.
Providing weekly reports on sales performance and helping develop and manage sales KPIs and sales trends.
Lastly, getting involved in the down and dirty – This isn’t a role for everyone!
Who will I be working with?
Directly with the Head of Sales but frankly, the whole team. We’re all in this together.

Minimum 3+ years sales experience within FMCG Food or Drink managing wholesale and On Trade
An extensive network of contacts in Food Service and with bar and restaurant chains

Curious, courageous and collaborative with excellent interpersonal, communication and sales/negotiating skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity to seek new opportunities.
Flexibility to travel as needed to our customer sites.
