Music Tutor

Smile Education Northwest are delighted to be working alongside flourishing secondary in the recruitment of a Music Tutor
We are looking for a Music Tutor to join this friendly secondary on a full-time basis starting immediately. The successful applicant will be supporting the music department and delivering pre-planned material to classes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fun and friendly team in the Wigan, Standish, Red Rock, Shevington area. The expected salary range for this role is between £85-100 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have experience teaching music to children. This could be as a private instrument teacher, for example a piano teacher. Applicants should feel confident in delivering pre-planned lessons to classes of pupils in a secondary school. Applicants must be able to read music.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
-        Experience teaching music to children- this does not need to be in an academic setting and can be from work such as private music tuition.
-        Comfortable with delivering pre-planned lesson content to classes from Year 7-11
-        Applicants must be able to read music
-        Confident in their ability to manage a classroom
