Job Title: Secondary School Music Teacher

Contract: Long-term, Full-time (April-July 2024)

About the Role:

As a Music Teacher at our secondary school in Doncaster, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic music lessons to students aged 11-16. You will have the opportunity to nurture students' musical talents and foster their love for music through a range of teaching techniques and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in music.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
  • Proven experience teaching music at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for music.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.

Contract Details:

Contract duration: April-July 2024 (Summer Term)

Full-time position via Academics agency.

Competitive weekly pay rate: �765-�1055 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
