Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Worcester, Midlands
Shifts: Monday - Friday, earlies, lates & nights
Salary: Circa �48,000 + per annum + Overtime Available (OTE 55k+)
The Position:
This reputable internationally recognised manufacturing company is seeking a proactive, independent and energetic maintenance engineer with experience within a FMCG manufacturing industry or similar work environment to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
You must be able to work well with others, have a positive attitude towards work and want to grow within the company long-term and must have previous experience finding BOTH mechanical and electrical faults in a FMCG environment. You must be able to show evidence of condition monitors, fault finding and repairs on manufacturing equipment such as pumps, motos, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, plc / control systems. As the purpose of this position is to develop you into the most senior electrical engineer onsite and strong electrical understanding is fundamental.
The role will include working independently on shift but also working closely with other members of the small engineering team and the highly skilled production staff. You must add input and implement your own improvement projects as well as assisting with the site ongoing projects and installations. You will have the autonomy to make a difference to the site, order the equipment and machinery needed and will be given time to make these amendments.
