YOUR ROLE
We are the Contract Logistics partner of choice for logistics outsourcing and the management of complex supply chains. Our integrated services include all aspects of logistics planning, control and execution. From point of origin to consumption, we design solutions that turn your logistics operations from a challenge into a substantial competitive advantage. Kuehne + Nagel provides a production support service package and through life support for Leonardo Helicopters that consists of all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking & packing. In addition, centers co-located with the end user ensure store to fitment service We are looking for an Inspector with ideally with previous experience and good IT skills.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Expedite the receipt, inspection, handling, storage and despatch of all customers assets in line with the agreed contract
Be familiar with current Aircraft Platform Publications and Technical Drawings.
Provide technical support to the Department MTO's in all aircraft related matters.
Ensure the efficient utilisation of all other resources including space, machinery, equipment and materials.
Support all day to day Warehouse and Supply Chain tasks as required in support of the service contract using SAP
Assess, check and verify all incoming items to ensure all GOLDesp tracked items are captured on the system. To provide QA for GOLDesp Creations and updates
Conduct all authorised GOLDesp inputs
Investigate any discrepancies and advise on appropriate corrective solutions
Support all warehouse MTO activities
Deputise for other MTI's in their absence

Maintain a tidy, safe and efficient warehouse at all times, reporting all accidents/near missesimmediately
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Completed an Apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent i.e. NVQ level 3, Military qualification, and have had experience within the aeronautical industry.
Must be totally flexible and willing to learn.
Have an understanding of the need for attention to detail, with a 'right first time' approach.
Can demonstrate good communication skills.
Shall have confidence within a busy & diverse working environment and have the ability to prioritise work on a day-to-day basis.
Must be computer literate and will have been trained in the use of MS Office Suite.
Must be willing to undergo Security Check Clearance.
