Shifts Available: Days (Early Finish Fridays)

Company & Role Description:

A manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join their team.

As Maintenance Team Leader you will carry Mechanical and Electrical maintenance on all production machinery and facilities as required.

You will lead and develop a team of 4 Technicians/Engineers to maximise capabilities.

Responsibilities as Maintenance Team Leader:

• Lead, train and mentor the Maintenance Team (of 4) to include Resource Planning, Personal Development, Performance Reviews & KPI setting and monitoring.


• Carry out facilities maintenance to ensure buildings are safe and fit for purpose at all times.


• Manage Contractors on site including Permit to Work


• PPM’s - including a developing a PPM schedule to ensure all preventative maintenance in performed as required.


• Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting, fault finding and repairs on a variety of production machinery.


• Conduct Risk Assessment activities.


• Complete all maintenance documentation recording all works carried out.

Skills & Experience required as Maintenance Team Leader:

• Be an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with some team lead/supervisory experience now looking for their next career move.


• Electrical bias with experience in a manufacturing environment


• Facilities maintenance experience (painting, plumbing) etc.


• Able to read engineering drawings and schematics.
