Role Overview: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. With a focus on electrical maintenance and repair, you'll also have the opportunity to utilise your mechanical skills to tackle a variety of challenges. From troubleshooting equipment issues to conducting preventive maintenance tasks, every day will bring new opportunities to showcase your expertise and make a tangible impact on our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on production machinery and equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Collaborating with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Adhering to health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong electrical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair.
Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts (Monday to Friday, 6-2, 2-10, 10-6).
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field are desirable.
