Description
- Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on FMCG production lines
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues swiftly to minimise downtime
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including machine operators, team leaders and management
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- Contribute to the training and development of junior team members
- Keep accurate maintenance records and reports
Profile
A successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Time served apprenticeship
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the FMCG industry
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
