Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the Cheshire area? We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, electrically biased, to join our team in a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights schedule. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a progressive and innovative company operating in the food/FMCG sector.
Responsibilities:
Conducting both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues to minimise downtime and optimise efficiency.
Carrying out routine inspections and implementing preventive maintenance strategies.
Collaborating with the production team to identify and address potential maintenance needs.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Apprentice trained or possess NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within the food/FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to work on a wide range of equipment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
